Over the last several months, ABOT has been very busy with trying to reverse our government’s pro-whaling position at the upcoming International Whaling Commission (IWC) meeting.

After sending a letter to our Prime Minister, we, along with Martha Watkins Gilkes, have now created the *Antigua and Barbuda Coalition for the Protection of Whales* which consists of 9 local environmental NGOs.

Certificate Day for successful students of EcoDiver 3 & 4 courses. We have now trained and educated 22 young Antiguans to dive to Advanced level and given them a grounding in Antiguan marine conversation. The four courses have been funded by two extremely generous but private donors. We really could not do it without you. Thank you to @divecarib and our presenters from @eagantigua @anublueocean @antiguabarbudanationalpark @faunafloraint for their help. Dates for future courses will be listed on our website when organised. Please encourage people who are interested to complete the EcoDiver application form on our website. Link in Bio. ...
