Over the last several months, ABOT has been very busy with trying to reverse our government’s pro-whaling position at the upcoming International Whaling Commission (IWC) meeting.

After sending a letter to our Prime Minister, we, along with Martha Watkins Gilkes, have now created the *Antigua and Barbuda Coalition for the Protection of Whales* which consists of 9 local environmental NGOs.

Certificate Day for successful students of EcoDiver 3 & 4 courses. We have now trained and educated 22 young Antiguans to dive to Advanced level and given them a grounding in Antiguan marine conversation. The four courses have been funded by two extremely generous but private donors. We really could not do it without you. Thank you to @divecarib and our presenters from @eagantigua @anublueocean @antiguabarbudanationalpark @faunafloraint for their help.
