History has shown that important changes can only occur alongside community-supported educational initiatives.
As well as our Safe-Sunscreen Initiative we are involved in initiatives that have been created in order to educate and both residents and visitors alike.
We have created a turtle poster which has been widely distributed. It states speed limits for boats in order to protect our endangered sea turtle populations.
Working alongside other NGOs and individuals ABOT is involved in encouraging the government of Antigua and Barbuda to change their stance on the continuation of whaling.
ABOT is now holding regular movie nights in the English Harbour area. We are showing a wide variety of marine conservation and ocean-themed films.
