We are involved in initiatives that have been created in order to educate and both residents and visitors alike.
We have been involved in a Safe-Sunscreen Initiative that educates our residents and visitors about the toxic effects of chemical sunscreens.
We are also encouraging all hotels and tour operators to spread the word to all upcoming guests that they should only use safe mineral-based sunscreens in the ocean.
We have also created a turtle poster which has been widely distributed. It states speed limits for boats in order to protect our endangered sea turtle populations.
